Telangandhraya Seema

Multiple Choice Questions as per TRS and Telangana separatists:
Q1. Telangana has been neglected and has remained underdeveloped for decades which of the following would be an apt solution:
a) Form a New State Telangana
b) Form a New State Telangana
c) Form a New State Telangana
d) Form a New State Telangana
Well to them I have a multiple choice question too:

Q2. Do you the separatist have a rational thinking?
a) No
b) No
c) No
d) No

Well, please don’t get me wrong whilst I ask this question Telangana leaders. I take no side but let me rewrite the Q1 as Q3 to put forward what I intend to say and my rational behind the Q2.

Q3. Telangana has been neglected and has remained underdeveloped for decades which of the following would be an apt solution:
a) Form a New State Telangana with Hyderabad an integral part. And give special allowances to the Andhra Rayalseema Regions to compensate their loss of the investment in the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
b) Form a New State Telangana and if need be forgo Hyderabad (as a common capital) to radically pacify the Andhra Rayalseema people
c) Frame a very long term period of say 15 years which would act as a tenure to modulate the smaller cities in Costal Andhra and Rayalseema to become capitals of the divided Andhra (and for sure be prepared for some unwanted shows if not antisocial and violent when the question arises as to which place should be the capital: Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada + Guntur + Machlipatnam, Kurnool or may be even Anantapur)
d) Stay as united Andhra (may be change the name of the state as TELANGANDRAYA SEEMA ) and have a special reservation for the Telangana people for the Governmental posts and related business opportunities and Form policies and monitoring committees for developing the Telangana Regions
e) Divide everything and everyone - Telangana, Rayalseema, Andhra and Hyderabad as a Union Territory. Each of the region would be given a special budget to develop their respective capitals - Warrangal, Kurnool/Anantapur, Vijayawada/Vizag.

Ideally to clear up the mess it created the government (in my opinion) can take up the following measure –
Declare the state would be left united. And announce a special package for economic stimulus of the Telangana region. And that new policies would be framed to safeguard the interests of the Telangana region. If possible the Government should also declare set up of some new ventures (PSU or some Special Economic Zones with tax holidays) in the interior Telangana Regions. There should also be some focus on the water usage in Telangana Regions.

All this with the understanding that KCR, the TRS leaders, the communists like Gaddar, the political leaders of Telangana really intend to fight for the development of the Telangana region and are not inclined towards their personal benefits out of the division. Option 4 would be a bigger win for the people of Telangana.

The complaint of the Telangana leaders is that a group of people are eating away the resources of Telangana and thereby are being the root cause of the backwardness of the Telangana people. Personally from my end I feel that even if Telangana is formed even then a group of people would eat away the resources of Telangana. And those exploiters, if not the Costa Andhra and Rayalseema leaders, would be a handful of political players of Telangana.

While the nation is all set to sleep, Indian Government wakes to fire and division. And poor economist Chidambaram is the face of it. I hope the Government would not say it was KCR, a leader of a party which could not even gain a quarter of the votes of the Telangana they are fighting for, is reason behind this decision. When saying this I would remind Chandra Babu Naidu should have given this hungry politician his bite in the form of a ministerial seat when he was in TDP and was unhappy with the Deputy Speakers post.

The Telangana people I should say are too innocent. It is evident that a person of Costal Andhra origin, who has foreseen a dead end (or a slow paced development further) in his political career and is not an individual to settle as a deputy speaker in the political arena is making people dance to his tunes and words. If I face KCR I would pose a question – Is Jinnah right in asking a separate nation for Muslims as he felt they would be left deprived as minority in Hindustan. Well if your answer is No then I would say the same would apply to you. And if your answer is yes Jinnah is right then I have no words.

I’ve heard some say Hyderabad along with Telangana has a history of 400 years and in all ways is fit to be separate. I hope these people would not raise a slogan for a separate country stating that Hyderabad has 400 years of history and was a nation earlier and will be happy as a nation. Development of Hyderabad has started way back by the Nizams, however in today’s Hyderabad, Cyberabad there is a major contribution of the people of the non Telangana regions too.

Of the whole episode we are making a few undeserving political leaders – heroes and further widening the gap between the common mob of different regions. So its time we wake up and pace up to Right things and keep our economy moving forward and not cripple it by such internal disputes.

AP's next CM

The most prevalent question of the hour is – Who would be the next CM of Andhra Pradesh?

The people or at least the audible majority of them pronounce the name – Jagan: Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. But let’s also glance at the other available options. I would not probe deep into the strengths and weakness of each of them either as individuals or with respect to the state. But I’d rather put forward my opinion on who should be the next CM for Andhra Pradesh and why?

But first who else could be an option? –

Rosiah: This dynamic 80 odd years young man needs no introduction. He served the state as an able state finance minister. He has been the voice of the congress government in all major issues. The cons with this gentleman would be that he is not a man of the mob (logically though that is not the need of the hour emotionally it is). Questions rise on his ability of displaying shrewdness as a leader of Congress and holding up the stick in the right manner to have the sheep flock together.

Purandeshwari: A learned lady, she is one orator with the right sense. Undoubtedly, she would find place in the rather small intellectual bunch of politicians of the day. She has her own set of admirers however might not be accepted by and large by every one among the party itself.

Jaipal Reddy and Diwakar Reddy: strong men and political power houses - yet shadowed by the hero YSR are also in the race.

I’d caste my vote for Rosiah. In my opinion, the ideal move to strategically benefit the state, the congress party, Jagan as an individual would be to let Rosiah be the chief minister and pave way for Jagan into the cabinet as a home minister or the Deputy Chief Minister. I have no questions on the ability of Y Samuel Jagan Mohan Reddy. However, with Rosiah in lead taking charge of responsibilities, Jagan in the cabinet would have an opportunity to get complete understanding of the prevailing socio economic situations of the state, the Secretariat, the state public administration, the leaders in the ruling and opposition parties, his very own party men and much more. This would churn out the public administrator within Jagan better. Jagan has showcased his leadership skills while exposing his business acumen where in he proved to be an able entrepreneur, a leader in the making. All what is expected now is to give him that final polish in terms of preparing him to take the bigger task in future with complete preparedness on a bigger socio-political dias.

This I feel would have been the methodology applied by YSR as a father too. A similar strategy is being implemented for Rahul. The mantle has been handed over to Singh saab while the prince is being groomed and acquainted well enough with the people, economy, cultures, politics and most importantly administration.

Not sure how correct I am. But I appeal to people to set aside emotions and stress on reasons. At the end of the day this is just my opinion - an opinion of a citizen of Andhra Pradesh who desires to be lead by able leaders now and in future too.
